Are there day tickets?Yes - Day Tickets can be purchased for the Friday 21st - Saturday 22nd - Sunday 23rd June dates. Sunday music and bar will be accessible for those with a valid: Sunday Ticket Weekend Ticket Saturday Night Camping Ticket.

Can I buy tickets on the gate?You must have a ticket or booking before you are allowed entry and are issued a wrist band. These can be purchased via your mobile phone or tablet on the day. Just visit our website to purchase.

Where is the festival?The festival site is off Guilthwaite Common Lane, Upper Whiston, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. There is no specific post code. The nearest post code is either S60 4NE or S26 3XL (Ulley County Park). We are listed accurately on Google Maps. There will be signs for the festival in the A618 Pleasley Road so please look out for these before turning off the A618. The festival site entrance will be sign posted. View on Google Maps

What are the times?Friday - 5pm tp Midnight Saturday - 10am to Midnight Sunday - 10am to 5pm Persons camping on site with a 1 Day pass must be off site by 10am the following day unless they stayed Saturday evening in which case they are welcome to enter the main arena on Sunday.

Will there be parking on site?275 “Free Off Street Parking” bays will be made available for Ticket holders. These cars must be removed by 9am the following morning. There will be stewards to assist with parking. There are strictly no provisions for cars to park outside the festival site on the public highway. We encourage all visitors to use Public Transport whenever possible. Users of the Car Park do so at their own risk. The Organisers will not accept responsibility for any damages, accidents or losses.

Are BBQs allowed?BBQs will be allowed so long as they are used sensibly away from tents and off the ground. BBQs can only be lit for food preparation purposes and not for camp fires. BBQs must not be refueled once your food is cooked. BBQs that are left unattended will be extinguished by security. For Gas BBQ owners - Gas canisters must be in good condition and fee from defect.

Are dogs allowed?Sorry, no dogs are allowed.

Are families welcome?Yes of course. The festival is aimed at encouraging families to come along and enjoy the outdoors, listen to some good music, camp and relax together. There will be things of interest for all ages. Children under 3 GO FREE !

Are there any public tranport links?Yes – there is a bus stop on the A618 with a 10 – min walk to the festival site. We encourage all visitors to use public transport whenever possible. Are W/Cs on site?There will be portaloos provided including 1 x disabled portaloos. These will be accessible from the camping area when the main areana is closed. There will also be a Mens Urinal facility.

Can I bring alcohol?The event is fully licensed and alcohol will be provided for purchase. Visitors are not permitted to bring their own alcohol on to site. Random searches will be carried out by SIA registered security guards. Any alcohol found will be confiscated. Please bring Photo ID as there will be a challenge 25 scheme in operation. This means that those who do not look 25 or over will be requested to prove they are indeed over 18.

Can I leave the site and come back in?We do not encourage this but persons may enter and re-enter providing they have a valid wrist band that MUST be presented upon re-entry. Persons wishing to re-enter, can only do so between the designated gate opening times of 10am and 9pm.

Can we bring a caravan or camper van?There will be a limited amount of mobile camping pitches available and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There will be an additional supplement for caravans and motor homes. Tickets can be purchased for Mobile Camping in addition to the Weekend Entry Tickets. Tickets for mobile camping can only be purchased for the weekend - this is to minimize vehicle movements within the camp filed during the event. We request that all mobile vehicles / caravans are on site by 9pm Friday. There is no electrical hook up sorry - we are in a field !

Is there a drop off / pick up point?There will be a pickup/drop off zone at the main car park. Anyone wishing to be dropped off or picked up from the event site MUST go to this point.

Can we camp?Camping is allowed on site for all those with a valid Camping Ticket or Weekend Ticket and / or valid festival wrist band. There will be a designated area away from the main arena for tents. No sleeping is permitted in the car park, cars or any other area of the festival site other than those for camping and overnight purposes. Persons urchasing a Friday Night camping pass must be off site before gates open 10am Saturday 18th June 2022.

Can I park my car next to my tent?Sorry no - all cars must be left in the main carpark (unless you are towing a caravan and have a valid mobile camping ticket). It is a 1-2 minute walk to the camp site from the main car park.

Can we have a Camp Fire?There will be a communial Fire Pit to sit round at night for those people who have a camping pass. Please do not dig your own fire pit or bring anything to burn, other than that to prepare hot food. BBQs must be raised above the ground and away from tents.

Cash or Card?We have card machines at the main bar and will do cash back when we can, but make sure you bring enough cash to get you through 3 days! Most food vendors will be cash only.

Disabled Access.We want Wheat Beat to be an event that everyone can enjoy so we will try our best to make the green field site as accessible as we can. There is also a lot of grass which can make conditions difficult if the rain comes. Please consider the ground conditions and unpredictable British weather when deciding what facilities you may need and what equipment you need to bring. Please Note: The disabled access facilities are for Blue Badge Holder’s only, so broken legs, recent injuries or pregnant women do not qualify. Blue Badges must be presented on entry.

What time will the music and bar finish at night?The bar will close at Midnight Friday and Saturday and music will finish at midnight and all ticketet holders must be out of the main arena by midnight.

What times do the gates open?Gates open at: Friday 17th June 2022 - 5pm - No entry after 9pm Saturday 18th June 2022 - No entry after 9pm Sunday is only open to those staying on site Saturday night. The Bar will be open from 11am till Midngiht each night but closes Suday 19th @ 5pm

Will I be able to charge my phone?We are looking at putting Solar Charging Poits in for 2022 but please try to come prepared.

Will their be activities for children?Yes – there will be a children’s area and marquee with activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, dance classes, story tent, chill out and quite time tent, toys and games, musical instruments. Bouncy Castles and Games. There will also be some sports activitiies and races being organised by a local partner. A football pitch will also be provided for the older kids. CRB checked qualified personnel will be on hand to assist with the children’s activities but parents and guardians are expected to be in control of their kids at all times.

Will there be clean water?Water for hand washing and cleaning pots and pans will be provided at the camping area and the main arena. Fresh Bottled Drinking Water can be purchased from the Bar and / or Concession Outlets. Cupped Drinking Water will be provided FOC on request.

Will there be disabled parking?Disabled parking will be made available for a limited amount of vehicles. Please contact us if you will be requiring a disabled parking space.

Will there be electric hookup?There will be no electrical hook up points provided for Mobile Accommodation. There will be a basic electrical supply provided for the use of charging and hair straighteners etc but this will be subject to availability.

Will there be food?Food concessions will be on site. Their will be a variety of hot and cold food to cater for all tastes. Hot beverages will also be available. Food will be available from breakfast through to dinner and late night snacks.

Can we bring our own food?We can stop stop people bringing their own food but we have lots of food stalls to cater for everyone and encourage you all to support the local traders.

Can we bring chairs and gazebos?Chairs are allowed but no gazebos and / or temporary structures in the main arena. Gazebos are welcome in the camp field.

Will there be showers?Sorry, no showers this year but if you tell your friends, come along and show support, then who knows for next year?

Will WiFi be available?There will be no WiFi on site, however, mobile phone reception and 4G signal should be reliable due to the location of the site.

Have you Lost or Found Property?Our lost proerty box is located at the Blue Caravan, should you find any or wish to enquire about any items you have lost or misplaced. If you have lost any property during the event and are now off site. Please email info@wheatbeat.co.uk with a description of the item(s) and we will endavour to assist with the safe retreaval. Unfortunately, we can niot be responsible for personal belongings.
